Vector Business Consulting is a company with Romanian capital, Oracle partner specializing in selling, implementation and localization of E-Business Suite applications, offering complete solutions for international level.

Established in January 2001 under the name Vector Software has a very rapid evolution, doubling on average every turnover and also accumulating a vast experience and a higher level of understanding of the business environment in Romania.

In February 2004, the company became Certified Oracle E-Business Suite Partner, already having a tradition in localization and implementation of Financial Management modules, skills in implementing Customer Relationship Management modules and agreed by Oracle Corporation for localization of Oracle Payroll module, a very sensitive product, in terms of specific Romanian legislation.

During the 5 years of activity, the company has been side-by side with Oracle Romania, being listed in many developed projects by the corporation on the local market, which enabled Vector’s team to acquire a very valuable experience in different businesses.

On the beginning of 2006, Vector Software acquired Orasys Extend, specialized in providing a professional technical service package (Oracle Expert Services), which provides to the customers, a specialized care for a wide range of Oracle systems management activities. The acquisition has helped expand the portfolio of solutions and services of the company, which will allow consolidating relationships with customers, and responding promptly to all organizations that are using Oracle technology.

During the same period, to be closer to customers and to develop capacity to respond in real time to their requirements, Vector Software has opened a different point of working in Cluj-Napoca. Territorial extension complements the company’s image on how to conduct business locally and bring a new spirit in the region, regarding the implementation of the newest technologies and business practices.

On the second half of 2006, the cumulated experience, expertise and professionalism, have resulted in obtaining the highest level of Oracle certification- Certified Advantage Partner, Vector Software entering in this way into the world elite of the roughly 15% of partners that meet Oracle conditions of this title.

Knowing that the only way to success is the quality, implementation of a Quality Management System and the obtaining certification according to ISO 9001:2001 has brought us closer to our growth objectives. Offering solutions, processes and quality approaches is the result of a mode of thinking, of a permanent process that defines us, as a team.

Starting with January 2009, the company’s name changed in Vector Business Consulting, because we wanted to increase the quality of services and the quality of the added value offered to our partners by preserving and developing the existing competencies in the “Oracle Applications on Technology” area and by emphasizing the consulting and the business analysis component specific to each industry.

The ability to offer personalized solutions to our clients in order to answer to the specific needs of the markets where they activate, and to incorporate a valuable “best practice”, defines, now, the mission that Vector assumed and the direction where it will concentrate its efforts and investments.
